Applying to Preschool
Parents and carers and their child are asked to visit, meet the manager and look around the Preschool.
Please book a visit via email.
See our contacts page.
Catchment Area
The preschool has a wide catchment area. Children come from Gt Massingham and surrounding villages as well as Kings Lynn, Fakenham and Swaffham. Children are welcomed to the Preschool wherever they live and we are happy to work with any Primary School you wish to send your child to.
First Days
Starting Preschool is a big step for parents, carers and children. We offer individualised settling that can be flexible to meet the childs needs.

During your childs first sessions with us staff will identify your childs key person. This is the person who your child has begun to make a favoured attachment to and who will be responsible in supporting your child. As a small staff team we are constantly in communication with each other and get to know all the children and families very well so if your childs key person is not there we can ensure that your child is still comfortable with all the staff at the preschool.
Kit List
This list gives you an idea of what to pack for your child at Preschool.
Spare clothes, at least two full sets of clothes. We do get messy so please don't put your child in any 'good' clothes.
Wellington boots, to leave at preschool for those wet and muddy days in the garden.
Slippers, to leave at preschool, everyone wears their slippers in the classroom, just like home.
Morning snack, if your child attends a morning session please bring a piece of raw fruit or veg that can cut up for the children to share at snack time.
Healthy lunch, if your child attends afternoon session they will need to bring their packed lunch. we ask this is a healthy lunch with no chocolate. Please do not include any sweets, chewy 'fruit snacks', marshmallows, nuts, peanut butter or chocolate spreads in lunches.
