What Parents Say

"my son felt immediately at ease and began exploring"

Learning and Developing

Playing

Children learn through play. they are hands on learners, exploring and investigating, having a go and trying again. Preschool provides the opportunities and environment for children to learn through play based activities. Adults support children's learning by giving them enough help to achieve something more, guided learning, direct teaching, structured activities and routines.

Learning

Children learn and develop at different rates and in different ways.  our staff know each child and understand child development and use observation and assessment to provide next stage learning and best support. A wide range of resources indoors and outside provide learning and development opportunities for children. our curriculum is designed to develop curiosity, independence and social skills. we want children to be excited to learn.

Growing

parents and carers are a childs first educators. Preschool follows the Early Years Foundation Stage that has seven areas of learning, Communication and  Language, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Literacy, Maths, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts. At Preschool children build their learning over time, gain new skills, make friends and become confident learners. Preschool staff know the children and their families and will be alongside in supporting and providing any help.
